Had a fantastic Safari/ fishing/ family trip.
Flew Premium Select out to Johannesburg without a hitch buddy pass.
Flew Lufthansa back.
Paid ticket.

I am flying Delta flight 200 on standby next month.
My question is. When you have checked rifle with TSA and you don't get on plane due to standby status, what happens to your luggage and firearms? Do they get pulled of plane prior to takeoff, or do they sail on to Johannesburg waiting for me...
The follow up, back up caliber/ bullet on my buffalo encounter was a 375 H&H with 300 grain barnes TSX.
The killing shot at very close range was through the mouth into to cervical spine.
It would have been great to have a larger caliber with heartier sized bullet.

Tom passed away yesterday. His wife and grandchildren were able to say their goodbyes.
Very sad.
But as his 12 year old grandauter said. " I'm sad granpa is gone and jealous he is with Jesus now"
