Me and my father just got back from a 5days hunt with our friends att Amakulu Safaris, Kimberley.
I just post som pics of my trophys now... More to come...
It's no high tech bullet, but it gets the job done. I would say It's like a hornady interlock RN. It's no bullet for high velocity magnum cartridges but in 9,3x62 it should work fine.
Norma Alaska is The classic moose bullet in Sweden. It has killed several 100 000 of mooses throug the years. It is not a bonded bullet like The woodleigh but it has a controled expansion. The typical weight retention is around 80%
Your probably right. Not used to see swedish hunting advertised to the world :-) Nice to see you value our lovley roebucks that high. Sorry for messing upp your ad. //Tony
Is that price really right? Don't mean to be rude, but knowing the avarage price on roe buck hunting here in Sweden it seems heavally over-priced. Must be monster gold medals and prime hunting estates. Best regards. //Tony
Norma also load their PH Line with 350gr Woodleigh, both Soft and Solids. My father used this combo in his 375 HH for Buffalo with great result on our last trip to Zimbabwe.
Me and my father just got back from our first Buffalo hunt i Zimbabwe. We hunted 7 Days in Woodland near Vic. Falls. The area has some boundery to Matetsi Unit 1. Our PH was Shepherd Katzidzira.

I´m going to Zimbabwe for Cape Buffalo next year. Would it be totaly wrong to use North Fork 450 gr SP and Solids on Buffalo in my 458WM or should i stick to the 500gr bullets. I can see North Fork sugest the 450 gr in 458WM. I have also looked at Woodleigh 480gr but i prefer the North Fork bullet.
thanks, jerome. It's my father who films the first part of the stalk, the shoot i filmed by my outfitter, John. we where the only hunters att the lodge at the time so he hunted with us most of the time.
Thank you all!
I will try to write some longer stories about the stalks, but you´ll have to excuse me if my English isn't a 100% correct..

I have been hunting with the oryx bullet, norma is religion here in Sweden ;) But i feel i want a harder bullet with a more controlled expansion for the African game.
I´m going to South Africa 3 weeks from now and I´m having some trouble choosing bullets for my 338-06 rifle. I´m planning to hunt zebra, eland, impala, red hartebeest and steenbok...
I´m choosing between the North Fork 200gr and Swift A-frame 225gr. I´d like the flatter trajectory of the north...

I went on my first African hunting trip 2 years ago, and I fell in love with Africa. I'm going back to...
