What a great Bushbuck Fritz. I could really feel your passion in your story. I was lucky enough in 2010 to take a great 17 1/2" bushbuck by spot and stalk on the Croc River in Thabazimbi. The feelings I had when I saw my arrow disappear in the sweet spot was incredible so I kinda know how you...
John, you will have the time of your life just get prepared for a return trip. I am working on my thrid trip now for 2013. Take as many photos as you can, can't to see them and the write up. Good Luck!
Just picked up my Gemsbok and Kudu from the taxidermist last week and thought you all might like to take a gander at them. I posted my Bushbuck and Eland back in April to show how good they turned out, well the taxidermist didn't disappoint again because these two turned out great. I designed...
I shot this bushbuck just outside Tabazimbi in the Limpopo Region. It was by spot and stalk on the Croc River. I can't tell you how excited I was to take such a fine animal.
I picked up my bushbuck and eland from the taxidermist last week and thought you all would like to see how well they turned out. The bushbuck is a real stud, 17 1/2" took him by spot and stalk at 33 yds. The eland had one of best looking capes I had ever seen. Enjoy
was lucky enough to take both Kudu and Nyala while I was in South Africa July of 2008. I had no intention of shooting a Nyala until I seen one and then I had to have one. I think they are one of the most beautiful looking animals in Africa.
I got back from South Africa a couple of weeks ago and just got a second to post a few pictures. This was my second time over the pond with Lekota Safaris. The first time over I thought that nothing would ever beat that hunt but I was wrong. This time even though I went when the moon was bright...
Congrats on the new setup. I bought the Z7 about a month ago and love it. Good luck on your adventure and take alot of pictures. I'll be going over in July this year also.
I am booked with Lekota Safaris out of Tabazimbe for July 2010. I had to do the same as ndbwhnter and move my dates back till after the World Cup. The airfare dropped a bunch by doing this.

I can't say which one is my favorite because I am proud of them all and I have some great memories of each one of them. Africa has changed my life and the way I think about my life.
Thanks for all the kind replys. The big Warthog was a great ending to a fantastic hunt. It was the last day of my 10 day hunt and I was really tying to shoot a cull Impala for its hide until this guy showed up and changed everything. I made a perfect 32 yd shot and he only went about 60 yds and...
I hunted in RSA last year and had a great time with Lakota Safaris and took some very fine animals. I was able to pick up all the mounts I had done last month and thought you all might like to see the great job my taxi did on them.
