A little scope help please... Trijicon TR25 1-6x25

You might think about how many rifles you want to bring . 11 lbs of ammo is the allowance that most all of the airlines use. 11 lbs of 375 HH is about 62 rounds I am sure that Ruger 375 and 300 win mag shells are about the same. so you might think about how many shells of each caliber you will...

A little scope help please... Trijicon TR25 1-6x25

You should use the scope that you are most familiar with and confident in . For hunting Buff or for any game that can be in the shadows or at night I have found that the red dot in the center of the redical Is a huge asset. A scope that adjusts down to 3X or under is good and gives you a wide...

New USA requirements in addition to the form 4457

Bob I may be breaking protocol on this thread but you would be the man to know . .375 H&H Do Critics Exist?

Wow It must hurt when you shoot a 7 LB 458 My 375 weighs about 8 fully loaded

    .375 H&H Do Critics Exist?

I second that. I have shot everything from Elephant to African Wild cat with my trusty 375 HH it is the only gun I take to Africa. I hear a lot about stopping power Stopping power will not make up for for a problem shot . You you are more likely to make a problem shot with a hard kicking...

.375 Ruger African and Hornady bullets

You could be right I was thinking if he used a fast burning powder instead of a magnum power
  36. J

.375 Ruger African and Hornady bullets

I know a common problem with some reloaders is that if 2500 fps is good then 2900fps has to be much better. In this case if the solid penetrated the entire animal and the soft blew up It would indicate that the load is to hot . I used 70 gns of R15 behind a 260 Accubond for about 2560 fps shot...

    Packing ammunition for flight?

Do not think you will run out of ammo looks like you have 180 round. Make sure you weigh it and it is less than 11 pounds. Put a luggage tag on it and bring a lock for it just in case SAA makes you check it separate from your checked luggage good luck on your hunt
