Having watched the whole recent debate i can tell you that they dont know these things......they are mindbogglingly ignorant on the subject.....mostly regurgitating the anti lies that are the only thing that make the papers in the UK. I am not hoping that hunters respond but more PH's outfitters...
We have a major issue in the UK - opposition to trophy hunting is at an all-time high...fuelled by Anti-organisations (often deliberately muddying the waters on hunting vs. poaching), celebrity tweets and widely ill-informed and often simply untrue newspaper articles.

James - great deal thanks for posting:
I have a couple of questions:
1) is the property fenced?
2) Can Damara Dik Dik be added?
3) what would the observer daily rate be ?
Many thanks

I did a lot of research before choosing a load for my .375H&H on its maiden voyage on Cape Buffalo - mainly speaking to folks that have shot a lot of buffalo and two names came up again and again - Swift A frame and Barnes TSX. It was considered by many that modern softs have made solids...
I live in London in a decent sized but by no means massive house - My wife's 58" Kudu has taken the only spot in the house (a stairwell skylight) for a larger animal so the Tiny Ten are a nice way to get something on the wall without taking over a room completely
greyfox - not sure where you are hunting but if you can add a Vaal Rhebok then i highly recommended. They live even higher than the MR and have the most extra ordinary senses you can imagine.
Thanks. I used my Sako 85 Synthetic Stainless in 30.06 and Federal 180 grain Barnes TSX
I was recommended these bullets early on and have used them ever since. They expand fantastically well on larger game and I have taken Eland, Blue(2) and Black Wildebeest and Kudu(2) all with one shot...
With a little forethought I asked Andrew to apply for a permit for me to take an Oribi. It required a lot of driving from my excellent PH but we managed to get one - adding another species in my quest for the Tiny Ten. (y)
I enjoyed hunting them so much in 2013 that I decided to have another go at Mountain Reedbuck in April this year. We managed to get a great old trophy as well - very worn down teeth - probably on his last winter.
Thanks for the welcome folks - I filled in my profile pretty extensively but it is possibly blocked by privacy settings - can anyone advise?
I have hunted Africa 4 times properly - all in RSA. I worked for a few months in the late 90's in a country that famously banned hunting in the late 70's...
