A little too close for comfort. I think that buffalo caught everyone off guard he circled and waited for them. I have always hated a client behind me with a loaded gun. Those are the sort of situations everyone, PH & Client should learn from, things can change in a split second.

October Hunting in SA is not that bad temperatures vary from 28-35 Deg Celsius with low humidity, depending on where you hunting after the hunt its a short 1:45min flight from Hoedspruit to Bazaruto smack bang in 1000lb territory.

Some Pictures I took whilst helping Game farmers is the area. The fire started on Tuesday in a rural area and we managed to stop the main line on Saturday with a total destruction of 50 000ha (123 553 Arce's). At least no homes were lost during this fire. We are expecting the first rains soon...

Those fires really destroyed quite a bit of land. They say if theres smoke there's a fire. If you see smoke you literally let everyone know in the surrounds. Once that wind flares up theres no stopping that bad boy.

This Bullet came out of a Giraffe Bull. Broad Side at 65 Yards. Bullet went through the centre of both side's ribs and was recovered in the skin on the other side. 375 H&H - Peregrine 300gr VRG3 Bushmaster at 2540fps. Weight retained 296gr

Hi All What do you think about the Peregrine VRG3 BUSHMASTER. Bullet came out of a Bull buffalo. Broad side at 50 Yards. The bullet went shoulder to shoulder through majour bone. 416 Rem Mag. 400gr Peregrine VRG3 BUSHMASTER at 2300FPS - Handload. Weight Retained 397gr.
