Yes. The best sporting clays shooter I know uses an old Beretta 391 with factory tubes. 95% of targets he shoots with a Mod + #7.5s and for anything really close he pulls the tube out completely and uses #8s. Brutally effective shooter

In certain applications like turkey hunting with modern, ultra hard pellets etc or specialty waterfowl loads, the extended chokes can offer the ability to more readily fine tune patterns, no doubt. However, when it comes to standard lead target loads, lead upland loads etc....they offer nothing...

I agree on the snowflake hand, but since buying a Pelagos, I've warmed to it. It does show-up well in low light and I kind of like the reference to classic Tudor Submariners that used the snowflake hand.

For sure. You can see it was set-up properly; rifle-optic-mounts etc. Everything you need, no fluff and no corners cut putting that together. One of the guys posting about looking for a M-70 375 needs to buy this.

Yes, that one got my attention also. Really well done. That dig on Tudor is one of the dumbest things I hear in the watch world. Tudor stands on its own as an excellent piece. That Black Bay or a Pelagos would be a great option in the Omega PO class.

They seem to be very rare now. Such a contrast to 2018 when it seemed they were anxious to move them.

Mine from 2018 has been fantastic. Great hunting-type trigger and 100% reliable after almost 200 rounds through it hunting and range/training use. I ordered a McMillan stock for it just because.... I'd say it's one of my favorite rifles in the safe.

The FXD is a winner. Could be the ultimate, modern, hard-use field/dive watch. I have the regular Pelagos but sort wish I'd waited for the FXD version.

Agreed on the fakes/scam warning, not to mention buying fake watches of any value or "quality" is just plain uncool regardless of the brand. You can buy some legitimately great watches for the cost of a fake, clone, super clone or whatever euphemism is used to mitigate the stench of that genre...

This! Took a cull giraffe as an unplanned add-on (price was very right). An old animal the local village wanted for food. The amount of meat was incredible and all the locals were ecstatic. Another hunt where my 375 H&H+Barnes Trip Shock performance really impressed me

The Pelagos is such a nice watch. I just bought a pre-owned 42mm RHD as a marine/hard use watch. Always been Ti-curious, so we'll see how it goes.

It's great on a NATO or a rubber strap. The rubber is nice when I'm in the ocean, less stretch
