hi morty333 thats a very nice discovery on the relatives front :) mind you watchout some of those SA lot can be a bit shifty ;):D:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: and maybe you should build yourself a .333 jeffery rifle (y)
hi brushmore welcome to AH, and dont wait too long to to make the dream a reality, or you will kick yourself when you get there for not going sooner ;)
in zambia we can only own the animals if we are fenced. the private land that is not fenced but can still be hunted have to buy quota from ZAWA. we can then have ownership docs from ZAWA with the numbers and species of animals on them. when you first fence land ZAWA people come in and assess the...
joseph just in case you arent one of those ugly little hairy things i used to have on a key ring when i was little like foxi thinks you possibly are  :), then welcome to AH. i notice its taken you a while to join in but each to their own. as has been said plenty of good offers on here...
Sunset photos for you people who need your african fix...
The smoke from this bush fire other side of the river from us made for some nice sunset photos, and with the mist on the kafue in the cold mornings mixed with the smoke the sunrise wasnt too bad either.
hi Donald welcome aboard. as pieter said sorry you couldnt make the journey with your dad, but it sounds like you have done some good saving and should be able to make your wish come true. good luck with finding a suitable hunt, hopefully pieters offer will fit as you are cutting things very...
Paul no probs. if you want just email what you would fancy doing and we will put it together just for a bit of fun as a demo for a potential trip. gives you something to be able to work with for the future. cheers mike
hi Velo Dog if flying from the usa its either through joburgh and on to lusaka, or klm via amsterdam direct to lusaka, or emirates via dubai into lusaka. BA unfortunately pulled out of the direct heathrow to lusaka route last oct which is a big pain for me. we have an anschutz bolt action in...
phil when you are at DSC or SCI next year go see guillaume or one of the others at verney-carron and they will measure you and give you the correct length, drop etc for you, and you dont even have to buy a rifle if you dont want to ;). they were with jerome at the AH drinks at SCI .
with all those sable photos wetting peoples appetites, we still have availability this year for this hunt offer, and to remind you of the hunting(inc a sable)/fishing combo package for 2015 thats also in great deals on hunts worldwide section, cheers mike
hi bluey dont worry you will be way up north for the hunt , but for the fishing you will be a bit down river from kariba, so bring your surfboard just in case ;)
you are correct on that one. they burned areas that we had protected from fires by burning brakes earlier in the year, so we were glad when the rains arrived as the animals were starting to stay near the river making them easier for the "visitors" to find.......
thanks wayne, some of the marks could be from burnt bush as "visitors" from over the river set fire to a big area just before this hunt, but there is some thick stuff as well.
