With the latest book by Eduardo Goncalves who is naming UK hunters coming out, The Times in the UK wrote a nice little promotion for him.
I will post some of the questions asked of me by the journalist in due course. The level of stupidity that Goncalves displays and is putting forward to his...
Posted here for interest with permission of the person I saved them from, although not his photos.
Unfortunately no further details are available at the moment but will be passed on if they become available.
Like him or loathe him, he was one hell of a man and led a life like no other, told it like it was and didn't suffer fools gladly.
He was also a keen shooting man, hunted tigers in India.
Don't know if he hunted in Africa though.
Any of you lot know anything about this? [emoji2955]

I'm looking for a scope to sit upon my MO3 in .375 and have narrowed things down to three choices.
All are similar in price and all have an illuminated reticle so I would be interested in any opinions on the good and the bad or why you would choose one or the other.
The choices are:

What do you do with them?
I know the skin makes good leather and you will never be short of a feather duster again but once you've successfully hunted one, the meat has been taken, what else can you do with the leftover bits?
Has anyone hunted these deer in Russia or the surrounding countries?
Does anyone know of reputable outfitters or have experience?
Fascinating deer in a fascinating part of the world.
This is a bucket list hunt for me that I would like to complete in the next year or two but searching on here...
Last weekend I met an old friend at a gun dealer local to me. He was picking up a new Sauer 404 in .308.
While he was choosing his rifle my attention was drawn to a Mauser M03 in .375H&H with a beautiful stock.
It was a second hand rifle and upon talking to the dealer it turned out it had only...

Do any U.K. hunters have recommendations for taxidermists in the U.K. who have experience of African game?
I'm aware most decent taxidermists will take on exotic animals but are there any who specialise or have a good reputation when it comes to animals hunted in Africa?
