Well final payment sent, less then a week and me and my 2 boys head for Africa. The youngest has been over once the oldest hasn't. Should be interesting, my youngest just turns 19 on Sunday so hope there are not any problems transiting RSA.

Paperwork done, rifles ready , gear checked so far so good. Namibia for 10 days with Shona safaris, then to Kimberly for 7 days with Wintershoek. Hope the flights go well.

So I am going to Namibia to hunt, right after that I'm going to South Africa. I can get a temporary Export Permit from Canada to Namibia. I was told by Canada I then need a export permit from Namibia to go to South Africa. How do I do this or is it nessesary. I'm sure someone has done this before

So in may I am flying to Windhoek through Johanasburg then back to Kimberly. I will be flying with Air Canada/ Star Alliance and my bags are supposed to be checked all the way through to Windhoek. Do I need any permits in RSA to transit through or am I good to go. Thanks in advance for any help.
