This beautiful blue/grey eland first described for science by Colonel J.H Patterson is mainly hunted in Tanzania.

Fantastic rifle, a pure jewel..
I used to have one, not that nice but I had lots of feeding trouble.... I used 570 gr Zumbo bullets, one of the best ''medecine'' for big game I ever had !!!!...
Everything is 100% good in the hunting area with lots of bongo signs !!!! I am mad.....
Well, I am still at home as AF 775 did not go to Bangui last Tuesday.... for safety reasons.... but AF went today whithout notice....
So next try January 7. Hope everything will be ok....

I went close to SENS, beautiful forest with lots of game.
We started with the mass of Saint Hubert. I was Lucky to get a wild boar and a red stag.

we can see some good signs to age these lions, black nose, teeth worn down. Where ever they come from, they are not Young, I think ....

Well, aging a lion is quite a burning subject !!! and out in the bush hunting them is very hard, for me in any case... even with the help of the trail cam..
Yes there is the same lion on different...
