Anyone try to buy powder lately?
Good fricking luck finding it! Obama's got us shooters way to spun up, you can't find powder very easily. I had to break down and order it online which of course means a haz mat fee of like $28. If I could have got all I wanted it wouldn't be so bad, but I could only find a couple of powders I wanted.

Saw a bunch being unloaded last weekend in Idaho at a sporting goods store.
My bet is there will be nothing left shortly.
I am glad I grabbed two boxes of bullets during that trip and I stocked up on powder last fall.
Thankfully, I am set for Africa this year.Practice whispering before you leave for Africa!
A Legend in my own mind!

Its not all that bad locally in my balliwick, NW Washington. All the AR's and most AK's are gone. Gun show last weekend was busy and the semi's were all way overpriced due to the panic buying, which I am not participating in. A fairly new local small shop has lots of powder on hand. Still looking for some H335 and I think they will have some.
I wish the idiot POTUS would just shut the hell up and worry about things that really matter like the economy which he has been re-hired to fix since he didnt to dick about it his first 4 years! I dont expect him to do anything this time either but then I didnt fall for his line of s$#t like the majority of ignorant, gullible and ill informed American voters did!! What a pathetic bunch of losers we have for voters. I still cannot believe what the hell just happened.

Stockpiling is a must. We seem to go through these shortages every time someone yells ban or control, which is every couple of years now. I try to keep enough components to last me a few years....powder, primers, etc.

Yes........ the firearms politics hot potato in the US is affecting us here as well. Friends in the big cities tell me the shelves are looking a little bare in places. I was at a small town store this last weekend that has some reloading supplies and it is still well stocked, but if this carries on I am sure it will see a run on supplies as well.

as stated this happens every couple of year, I'm begaining to think thats the plan using scare tactics the sales of these items sky rocket and the Gov. makes a ton on taxes think about it it wasn't to many years ago you could buy a AK47 in a pawn shop for under a $100 try that now. Big money being made and big taxes being gotton by both state and federal taxes. Things that make you go Hmmmm...

While the idiots who voted HIM back in collect their checks and
, here we are, wondering how the hell we are going to fight back so we can shoot. Don't want to offend THEM though, but, it's okay to F**k with us??? I think not.

You know the sad part is that it's not the fools that voted him in, but it is rather the fault of the fools that didn't bother to vote him out. If everybody would just get off their butts and vote we wouldn't be in this mess. ( Just my 2 cents)

I thought they were after the assult rifles. I did not know that they were making powder illegal. My gun store owner has a bunch of powder on stock in the back room but he has raised the price way up to where now if I buy 8lb containers I can get it quite abit cheaper from Midway even with the hazmat fee. I think there is a alot of taking advantage of the situation. Sounds like the hoarding is screwing eveyone.

Does it matter if they are after just the "Assault Rifle's"? I use my "Assault Rifle" for Coyote hunting, but, yet they want it too. They want you powder, your bullets, and all of your guns. Guess I need to clarify something though, my "Assault Rifle" has been de-militarized, it only has a safety and fire switch on it, I had them take the full auto selection off of the rifle before I bought it.

I agree, I think the whole gun business is taking advantage of Obama again for the second TIME. I'm sitting on sidelines.
I'll wait for the storm to end.

About half right. Too many on our side didnt vote this time, or voted for some losertarian alternative, because Romney was not the perfect conservative candidate. No, he wasnt, but look what we got instead. I find it amazing that some didnt vote for Romney because he is Mormon! So what?!!?
As to the first part of your statement; the majority that voted, voted for Odumbo, regardless, and they are the fools who voted him in. You cannot say they are not fools because they are, there was just more of them. I do agree but it probably cannot be proved, that IF - IF all on our side had voted for Romney and not some other 3rd party twerp, then yes we May have won. Maybe. We got beat pretty bad. At present we are no longer a center-right country. We are now center-left. The demtards, yes DEMTARDS are winning. For the time being.
