Great News Folks! I just got an email from my Customs Broker my trophies landed in Atlanta Ga at 0545 yesterday morning and were cleared for release by 0900hrs this morning, tomorrow "early as I doubt I get much sleep tonight" I'm off to Atlanta to pick them up.

for a little breakdown on cost for everyone.

BROKER FEE 125.00
DUTY FEE 25.00
SURETY BOND 54.00
FISH AND WILDLIFE 75.00
Total 279.00

Now for an earlier question on another thread about warthogs I have a full body mount Warthog in this shipment it all came in one shipment to the same area and all trophies cleared in about 26 hours No Problem What So Ever. :D Bob

Pics to follow soon!

Good for you! Can't wait to see the pictures!

Good news. Safe trip.
Looking forward to the pictures.

Can not wait to see the pictures and find out how you like them

Well Guys as promised here are a few pics of my trophies that I got last year. I did have me a good laugh though as I removed the top off the box I looked in and and my heart stopped I got a serious look on my face I looked down at Deb and said I'm going to have to email Cecil. Deb ask what is it and I told her she would have to see it for herself so she climbed up in the back of the truck and as she looked over the top of the box she ask again whats wrong? and I said nothing there beautiful she turned and looked at me with almost a tear in her eye and said you SOB you scared me. I told her if cecil was here right now I'd give him a hug. The only one I have to make a pedestal for is the Zebra.

Well they look good, congrats.

It looks like great work for great trophies! Enjoy the memories of the hunt.

Man..I'm jealous already and haven't even been to Africa Yet. Wish I had room in my house for trophies like that. CONGRATS!

Thanks guys I'm pretty proud of them, Cecil may not be in the Masters category but he's dog gone good and better then anything I can do. If anyone is going to be hunting on the Eastern Cape I highly recommend him. Good price and fast service dropped them off to him in June and he had them done by 15 December and that's with my Vaalie holding things up.

Very nice!!! Good for you!

Thanks Bluey but the Zebra and Red Hartebeest belong to Deb she's still laughing at me about that she took both of hers at well over 300 yard shots. My Nyala walked out from behind a bush at less then 20 yards I could have chucked a spear and got it. and I'd be glad to send you the info. PM me your email Address and I'll send you this years price list with Cecil's contact info .

I think Cecil was a excellent choice Bob, I thought his pricing and service was ABOVE average. Hard to beat!

Great looking mounts-Bob-would you PM me what your freight details were from the EC to where you are at?

We have a big box of 7 mounts which is going to move from the taxi to the shipping agent in the very near future and I'd like to have a "comp".

Another hunter with us received his trophies last week, but it had to come in 2 crates and his customs/fees was nearly triple of yours!
