Has anyone bow hunted with Noasanabis in Namibia? We are planning 2nd trip to Africa. Went to Limpopo in South Africa last year. Looking for any info possible! Or any suggestions for a bow hunt in Namibia?

Welcome Kathy.

NOASANABIS GAME RANCH
I assume you mean this outfit?

I just looked at their entire trophy "Album" and there is not one Bow Hunted Trophy.
Why?
Wide range of trophies in the pictures including a couple nice Steenbok.

What I can find:
Noasanabis is a farm immediately outside Leonardville south of the airport.
It is about 5km by 7km in size.
The terrain looks quite flat on Google earth except for the embankment over looking the river.
Looks like about 7 or 8 boreholes or water points spread about the property.
It looks to be broken up into a lot of low fenced Kraals.

Can not find either listed person in NAPHA's member list. (maybe I am blind)

Hi Kathy. I've never been to Namibia, but the outfitter I bowhunted with in RSA in 2010 started a new place there a couple years ago that i have heard some very good things about. Theirname is Driess Visser Safaris and they specialize in bowhunts. I had a great timewith them in RSA and wouldn't hesitate to try them again.

Good morning, we haven't bow hunted Noasanabis, but have rifle hunted there two times. Once four years ago, and we just returned last week from our second trip. We can tell you that most of the rifle hunting is done spot and stalk, but there are several great waterholes with hides/ blinds overlooking each offering great opportunities for a bow hunter.

Everytime we have sat in the hides for game viewing or even hunting we have seen tons of animals around these waterholes. Everything from Warthog, to Waterbuck, Kudu, Zebra, Eland, Blesbok, Springbok, Impala, Duiker, Steenbok, and Black Wildebeest. There are some serious high quality trophies.

These are great setups with ranges from up close out to 40 or so yards. We can also tell you that the service is second to none. You will br treated very well, and the food is great.

Hope this helps,

Travis and Gina
