Hello to All!
My name is Kobus Erasmus, and I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to the AH.com Community. I am one of the owners of Offtrail Safaris. We are a family run outfit of fathers and sons who wish to share our life-long passions by providing fishing and hunting safaris in Southern Africa like no other you will experience. Although we are a relatively new outfit, we offer 2 generations of PHs and professional fisherman with a combined experience of nearly 100 years of fishing and hunting in Southern Africa. Our primary target is the famous Zambezi Tigerfish although you can expect action from many of the fantastic game fish species that inhabit the upper Zambezi including sharp tooth catfish, the humpback, the pinky, and 3-spot bream.
Our camp is based just outside of Katima Mulilo, Namibia. We primarily fish the upper part of the Zambezi River known as the Caprivi Strip. We are a short, convenient commercial flight from Jo’burg to Kasane, and then about an 1 and 1/2 hour scenic drive through Chobe National Park to our camp. We can custom built a safari for you to include fishing, hunting or both. We also offer game drives through Chobe Park, trips to Victoria Falls, and many other fantastic African adventures.
