Great write up- and what a gift to hunt with your dad. I truly regret not getting to Africa in time to get my father over there. He's still with me but says he's just too old to do a trip like this now. I beat myself up over that alot.

P.S. I LOVE your dad's duct tape around his pant cuffs. :D

Dennis received the skins from his tannery and he likes what he sees. The skins are some of the best he has seen coming out of the EC. Good job all.

Hopefully I'll be able to say the same for Dennis soon!!! LOL.

I talked to Dennis last weekend about mounting the animals from my hunt with KMG this April. He was still saying great things about the way your capes were handled by both Marius's crew and H & C in PE. He planned to contact Marius and tell him to handle mine the exact same way. Please share pics of Dennis's work on the completed mounts.
 
Father son hunts make for the best memories! Took duct tape on my hunt as well but didn't have to use it!
 
Thanks guys. Dennis is the man when it comes to his trade. Marius took really good care of us. Well he took good care of Dad and basically let me fend for myself.:sneaky: Kevin and Lynn from Hunters and Collectors were never more than an email away. I was kept in the loop the whole time, from dropping them off, to shipping, to arrival for clearing. I also used Michael Lewis at Coppersmith. Again, no issues.

Yeah, Dad and duct tape go together. I forgot to tell all that as soon as Dad got home he went out and bought a new SAVAGE. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:. It is a tack driver just like I thought it would be. I'm sure Dennis will post the pics better than me, so I will leave that to him.
