Some of you may have been keeping up with the weather in the south with days and days of heavy rain. I live in Columbia SC where we're getting the brunt of the floods. Cars and some houses underwater and we have lost 9 people so far. So far my house and neighborhood ok. Please keep these people in your prayers. So many people have lost family members and pets. Business have been shut down as well as schools and grocery stores. A curfew has been in place since yesterday. It's so weird to see what used to be an interstate now a river. Have a blessed day folks.

There is nothing like the power of a water.

Stay safe.

Be safe and hope the flood does not reach your house.

Praying.

Stay safe!

Prayers being said.

I lived in Columbia for nine years off Clemson road and had to take I 20 to work at Bush River road. I understand the water is touching the interstate 20 bridge over the river! Man that's a lot of water. Also saw where SC&G opened the diversion gates at lake Murray which probably hasn't been done in 50 years.

CAustin you are correct. A dam broke near Forrest Acres here and overnight water rose over twenty feet. Two story houses were underwater in minutes. Gonna be a long recovery.

Take care and be safe.

Thoughts and prayers for all affected.

Keep those fine rifles of yours and yourself safe and dry!

Best of luck, those flood waters looked bad.

Get the wife and kids, rifles and powder to High Ground

It has been a long long time since the diversion gates have been opened. Used to scuba dive around them all the time.

I read about that mess the other day. I really feel for you. Water can have so much power when it is like that. We'll keep you in our prayers. The sun will return and the water recede. May be a while, but life will eventually get back to normal. Hope your house stays dry. Best of luck. Bruce

Thanks to all that posted. Last two days sunny and nice. My daughter who lives downtown but on higher ground and myself have made it through unscathed, except she having to boil her water. She said " It's just like camping dad! ". Going to donate to people less fortunate. Thanks again.

I would be interested in it if you pass. Please send me the info on the gun shop if you do not buy it. I have the needed ammo and brass.
Thanks,
Ross
