I have been selected as a top-ten candidate in the Extreme Huntress contest and I need the votes of my African-Hunting enthusiast buddies! Go to: Tahoe Films, LTD - Primal Adventure's Extreme Huntress Contest and click on Olivia Nalos. This competition showcases the talents and challenges of real women hunters. As an international huntress, I am quite honored to be ranked amongst the top-ten and hope to represent the international hunting community with knowledge, passion, class, and eloquence.
For a little background on who I am, my greatest passion is to educate the public about the important role hunters play as stewards of nature. Because of my sincere appreciation for wildlife, and enthusiasm to help promote conservation, I am involved in the outdoor hunting industry in many capacities. I have appeared on several hunting television shows, acted as a co-host of çš„nside Texas Outdoors radio show and I am a certified measurer for Boone & Crockett, Pope & Young, Rowland Ward, and a Master Measurer / Certified Measuring Instructor for SCI. By profession, I am a hunting consultant and adventure coordinator for The Global Hunting Network Global Hunting Network .
As the 2003 Mrs. Nebraska, America Mrs. Nebraska America Pageant , my platform was to promote the importance of hunters as conservationists, humanitarians and stewards of renewable wildlife resources. With such a controversial platform I understood that criticism and adverse reaction would result, but remained eager to provide factual insight on a topic where the truth is often distorted.
But I am more stalk than talk, I am a huntress, hunting big game & dangerous game in countries such as: Benin, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Argentina, Mongolia, New Zealand, Mexico, Canada, and throughout the United States. Needless to say, I have been there and done that, yet consider myself fortunate for the opportunity to play a small role in preserving our great hunting heritage.
