The wait is killing me

Ok so I leave for Africa in 59 days but who's counting right. The final countdown is killing me. My ph sends me this picture today.

Lion is one of the things I'm after on this trip. What a monster of a cat. Geeze this is going to be the longest two months of my life. I'm probably not going to be able to sleep now. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas morning times 100.

My wife showed me her countdown timer that said seven days 17 hours and 34 minutes, but that was like 10 minutes ago....

Not at all. He is Andri Fox, not sure of the exact location but it's RSA in the northern cape up by Botswana. We're hunting lion and buff there then we move to the eastern cape for the kids to hunt pg at another of Andri's places.

Man I understand, everybody's hunt reports are the only thing that has kept my sanity. What's your next trip going to be?

Nothing is set in stone yet. There are too many things I still want to do. I may see if there is a late season special I can't afford to pass on, but then again?

Maybe your hunting report will encourage me to duplicate your hunt.

I certainly look forward to reading about it, and photos, there can never be too many photos in a report!

Right, will do my absolute best with the report when we get back. I'd be glad to give you all the info you'd like about the outfitter. If it seems that your interested in a similar hunt once I post the report I can give you my phone # if you'd like all the details and contact info. Andri is a great guy, I really enjoyed spending a week with him at the TTHA show last August, our booths were next to each other. I ended up booking the hunt with him at the end of the show. Since then I talk with him via email a few times a week. We've talked on the phone a couple of times too. He's super easy to deal with and has gone way above and beyond to put my absolute dream hunt together at a price I can afford. I have a feeling I will be hunting with him several more times in the future as he has places to hunt all over and including a few other African countries with a whole lot of different species.

Ok, you inspired me to look at one of those fancy countdown clocks online. I wish I would not have. 71 days till take off. Not sure if the broadhead target will last that long the way I've been shooting. Can't wait!!
