I was looking on here at outfitters. I asked one why his prices were so much higher than a lot of other outfitters.
He replied and say they had just taken two 40" Gemsbok and three 6" Steenbok - Wildebeest.
Wait for pictures and also told him to post on here

He should come over here and shoot some 200" whitetails, 400" elk and if time allows maybe an 8' bear or 2.

Gemsbok and Wildebeest sure but the 3-6" Steenbok sounds over inflated, love to see his tape measure.

I look forward to the pictures. I want to see both ends of the steel tape. :)

It's easier for me to find a bloody 200 inch Whitetail than a damned 6 inch Steenbok.

Yep I want to see the pictures

Maybe he was adding the two horns together to get that measurement :)

Yep, having those 2" cut off the end of his tape pays off real well, especially with the Steinbok :)

Well it took a few days to get a reply last time . I will name who it was if he does not answer me.

Looking forward to the photos of the steenbok's myself.

Could be genetics, could be.................

Proper fence .... sorry, wrong thread!

This statement got me curious. My copy of Rowland Ward is the 1984 edition, so obviously not very current. There are only 19 steenbok over six inches recorded.

I am certainly interested in seeing the photos of an outfitter that has just taken 3 of them.

One unregistered specimen is in my lodge.

I have a 5 1/2 incher Of course that's the biggest one I've ever seen.

Just like whitetails here in AB, there are far more book heads unregistered than registered but they are still far from common. Heads in the top of the book even more so.

Ya sounds a bit far fetched...

I would be interested in it if you pass. Please send me the info on the gun shop if you do not buy it. I have the needed ammo and brass.
Thanks,
