Here is a 10 minute video of a buffalo hunt in Limpopo. This is a promotional video for Blaser. The cinematography is exceptional!



Description:
Ottmar Penker's latest cinematic highlight, shot in 2014 in close cooperation with Blaser Hunting Rifles. Join Ian Brown on a buffalo hunt in the Limpopo region, South Africa.
Ian shoots a Blaser R8 Kilombero in .416 Rem. Mag.
 
I was waiting for Lara Croft to join the hunt at any minute with those horns playing.

Outstanding video. I watched it 3 times in a row and tried to imagine the feeling of that moment when i take my buff this summer. Gave me chill bumps!
 
So I clicked on the video and was watching before I read the description below the video..........so it was only during the video that I realized this was my PH and Tracker on my first hunt in 2010. Well produced video to be certain.

Incredible amount of editing and retake work went into this, in my limited knowledge of videography, this had to have been a mammoth task..

Royal - I think a non-hunter would want to hunt a buffalo after watching that!


I need to get my hands on some high quality video gear for my next safari.
 
WOW! It's what I want to do next. The Blaser R8 is an outstanding rifle. It was my choice too! I took a R8 Kilombero in .357 H&H for our first Africa trip.

I feel for Ian. He has to go all over the world and hunt for Blaser. Poor guy.
 
Gizmo I hope you make a SHOT, note I spelled correctly, as good as that guy did and drop your buff in his tracks.

Ian said it took 11 days just shooting this video! Very cool indeed!
 
Now that's art! Truly amazing cinematography. That gives a guy a serious itch to get back to Africa.
