WANTED: Leopard hunt wanted for 2015

Chris/Bossie, the ordinance only differentiates provinces amongst PH's a outfitter is National there is no provincial legislation prohibiting an outfitter to operate in each and every province, as long as he has obtained hunting rights to the area he is operating on and as long as his PH is registered in the relevant province.

While some might deem it to be unfair, I believe it's quite obvious the problem that we are confronted with by having outfitters from different provinces apply.
As a side note there is no legislation dictating that a outfitter should or even possibly could have a DG rating/permit that system does not apply to outfitters, as soon as they conduct a safari themselves it comes into play.

Legislation dictates that said permits (leopard, lion, badger hyena, Elle etc.)can only be issued to an outfitter, so a ph can not apply without an outfitters license, in the same breath a PH does not need to obtain DG rating for Him to be able to operate as an outfitter, legislation dictates an operational period of three years.

Just as an add on.

My best.

Bossie completely understood the draw system is frustrating to say the least.

Send me your email if you are not receiving the info from LHLF I will add you immediately.

My best always

Jaco will you kindly add me as well as I have experienced the same problem as Bossie Pieter@pawprintsafaris.co.za

By the way this thread is going it seems as if the few of us on here will get to a resolution to the problem soon.

True, that's what they call communication.

Btw Bossie stuur n epos aan secretary@limpopohunters.co.za, en request net dat hulle jou op die data basis add, jy sal alle inligting ontvang.

My best always

THX Jaco ek gaan dit nou doen.
Baie dankie vir al jou hulp, as jy ooit die kant kom laat weet my, dan braai ons iets.:A Camping:

Great to see all the outfitters working together to solve issues/problems and come to understandings.

I hope to meet you all and to do business and hunt with each of you in the future...... Even if you talk and type funny :)

Sorry Jaco, I beg to differ. An Outfitter needs to be registered in every Province that he hunts in - not only the PH.

Chris,you are correct.

Enysse a leopard can only be allocated to a hunting outfitter not a landowner unless the above mentioned is the latter, he can not even apply for a CITES TAG

MY BEST ALWAYS

Chris you are quite correct I miss interpreted my conversation with Ronnie (Natcon)are 100% (guess I can't always be correct.)
However.
The entire draw is open to limpopo based and non limpopo based outfitters.
Hence the huge number of applications, I do apologize for creating any confusion.

No worries Jaco. According to my wife I'm never right...

In the Northwest province landowners apply for tags not outfitters. The outfitter then gets the hunting rights from the landowner.

Well, that is good news! Thanks, for the explanation.

Hello, It's a long story but I booked a leopard hunt for next year and I m rapidly loosing confidence in the hunt. Therefore I m willing to loose my deposit on the hunt and look else where. I can't spend 30k are there any PH's out there can help me book a good leopard hunt for next year?
