WANTED: Cape Buffalo hunt for 4 hunters 2016

Trying to plan Cape Buffalo hunt in 2016 for 4 hunters. Leaning towards Zimbabwe or Mozambique because of hunt costs? Thanks for any information

You're welcome to send me an e mail to discuss this. I have been hunting one of the APNR reserves in South Africa for the past 10 years . This is some of the best free range Buffalo hunting available today. a Large Buffalo population with a low off take makes for great hunting.

Happy hunting

As promised
A short description of the area to follow

CAMP:
The camp consists of tents with full bathrooms facilities. Tents are equipped with 220v through inverters as well as generators, fans, comfortable beds as well as mosquito nets, everything one needs after a good hard day of hunting is catered for.

AREA:

The area lies on the banks of the Rio Save which forms a natural border between Mozambique and Zimbabwe, as well as the famous, Gonarezhou National Park it shares a 60 mile boundary with the park.

The park has an elephant population of 13500 and a 3500 buffalo. Apart from our resident game we do receive ample movement from the park, this truly is wild Africa, there are no fences throughout the concession.

The Save River runs through the area providing drinking points for all types of game and residence for hippo, crocodile and tiger fish.

Along the river there are some dense forest areas but the remainder of the 140 000 acres is mostly tall trees with reasonably good visibility, Pockets of dense bush, small rivers and rocky outcrops provide ideal hunting terrain, for cats, and humans alike...

LOGISTICS
We suggest the client to be picked up from OR Tambo and driven to Punda Maria (Kruger National park) to overnight there. The following morning the border is a short 30 mile drive. Once through the border the camp is a further 100 miles crossing two major rivers, including the Limpopo.

This is a rough and tough area, the opportunity will come to take a good mature Dugga boy, with some good old fashioned hard work.

I am offering a 10 day old school safari including a buff and fully guided 1x1 hunt for a total of $13 900

Includes:
-all meals
-all drinks
-myself as professional hunter in most depending on dates otherwise Henry, Reinhard or Ryno as the others
-fully equipped hunting vehicle
-trackers, skinners as well as all camp staff.
-Field Preparation of trophies (skinning, salting and drying)
-all daily rates for 10 full hunting days
-trophy fee for 1 x Cape buffalo

-dipping, packing, shipping.

Jacob that sounds like a great price for a incredible experience. Any other animals on quota? Trophy fees for other animals? Thanks. Bruce

Sounds like a great place and price Jaco. Glad you were able to secure the property!

image.jpg As mentioned earlier it is a rough and tough area the camp is by no means luxurious but has all the little things that one needs after a hard, image.jpg day's hunt.

There are 3 en suite tents all with hot showers flushing toilets and comfortable bedding, a true retreat after a good dinner and glass of wine around the fire.

Looks interesting Jaco. Looking forward to hearing more.

Zambia has always been "over the top" expensive in the past. Tried to hunt there twice, but the incredible Govt fees and cost of everything else drove me away. Would be surprised if a hunt there can be competitively priced. Unless one is crazy rich with money to through away, I just can't imagine a buff hunt in Tanz or Zambia being a wise use of disposable income. Hunt RSA or Mozq and use the savings to hunt NZ or Australia.....................FWB

Hunts are like prostitutes you pay for what you get. You will not throw away your money in Zambia and in addition you can hunt a host of species along side your buff.

Fairgame............I love your analogy.................although it does cast the PH in a new light. I must reconsider Zambia..............FWB

I have read/heard about great buffalo hunts in Zambia.
One can also have a 10 day safari in Uganda for a buffalo for about $13000.
You then also have the additional option to collect the most beautiful impala on the continent, very large waterbuck as well as some more plains game.
