That's an awesome tip, congratulations But I have a question.. What is that on the left side of the scope? It doesn't look like a Leupold emblem? and I have never seen the windage adjustment on the left side of a Leupold scope?
A quick question on what paper work did the client have to do in advance to make a gift of a rifle, to prevent running afoul of the firearms folks in Joburg and the return country?
@AZDAVE the client and I both stay in Europe so its no problem. If however you want to give a rifle to a PH in SA I guess you will need a permanent export doc from country of origin and then apply in SA for permanent inportation.
Thanks for the info, you both being in Europe makes the transition of ownership a bit easier. I am currently restocking a #1 with a nice piece of English walnut, and have a 416rigby #1 next on the work bench as a nice winter project. I to also like #1's. Not as much as my doubles but close. Have a Merry Christmas.
Finally took her too the range today. Have a screwed up rotator cuff and torn bicep tendon on my right hand side so did not shoot her too much, just enough for some Wild Boar hunting this weekend.
First shot left and high, second one too far right and the last two speak for themselves. 300gr NORMA Oryx ammo.
