I have been attending ten years hunters from all over the world for wingshooting.....doves shooting to be more precise, and Córdoba dont let anybody go down.....!!!!!
Programs are relaxed and the whole family can enjoy of them and even the most demanding shooters find their expectations surpassed in this world class wingshooting destination.

Ussualy I knock on the room door at 7.30 for breakfast at 8 and go to the field at 8.30........shooters are in the blinds at 9 and We shoot untill 12.30......then We make stop for a good Barbacue and have lunch in the field.
A good siesta is necesary untill 2.15, to be ready in the spots 2.30 and enjoy of the non-stop shoothing up to 5.30.........happy hour could be in the field or at the return to the Lodge where you have plenty of time for a shower, good drinks and a better dinner and end the day in a living room sharing the comments of hunting acompanied with a good Scotch....!!!!

If you want to relax and shoot some shells, you can do it........if you want a live a really non-stop high volume shooting experience you can do it......if you want try your self shooting down a thousand doves in a single day............just try.........Cordoba is the place to make your intent.

The whole year is the right season......no limits on doves, no limits on months and no limits on shells.
The 95 percent of shooting is done with 20 gauge shootguns and We ussualy use automatics Berettas and Bennelis.....those guns can handle this job with no problems and dont need to be cleaned untill pass 3000 shells..........over under and side by side are welcome also.........!!!!

What is the cost for shells?

Grady, for now the cost of the shells is US 13.50 a box x 25 shell......our programs of 3 shooting days is with 2000 shells included.

Thanks....!!!

Rocket,

This hunt has been on my list. What fun it would be, especially with you!

What is the cost of the 3 day program? Just curious. It will be several more years before I get to this one I'm afraid.... :(

Looks like fun ROCKET.

That's a really good deal with the shotgun shells included. Less than $350.00 a day for room and board ect. 26 1/2 boxes of shotgun shells a day will make my shoulder sore for sure. Wish I could go this year...

Mekanicks, doves shooting programs here, are not too expensive, are programs to relax, enjoy, have fun and shoot alot of birds........!!!!
I hope you can come and try......!!!!

Hi Rocket,

What is the additional cost of 12 gauge shells?

What process would a hunter have to go through to bring a shotgun into the country?

You indicated a party group setting, what is the number of guest you can take at one time?

Are there activities for non hunters in the group?

Do you have youth (small children) shotguns available?

What would be a good time of year to try and schedule a bird shoot?

James.......The cost for 12 gauge and 28 gauge shells is US 15.

To bring your own guns you have to go to your next Argentine consulate with your gun papers and they give to you a pre permit, the rest of the paper work for guns We do here.
In a short time you will can do that via Web with the consulate.
Anyway if want to avoid that you can rent the guns.

We can take 10 people at the time.

The town where We at is San Javier in the Traslasierra Valley......is a very small town, ussualy non hunters stay in the morning in the lodge, walk around, very safety an quiet place, there is a profesional golf course near from the lodge and I pick them up later to take them to the field for a grupal barbacue lunch and spend the rest of the day in the field with no extra cost for non hunters.
Special activities can be required, visit some place, museum or horse rideback.

Non hunters US 200 per day.

We have some 28 gauge shotgun wich can fit for small kids.

The dove hunting season in Cordoba is all year round.....I would recomend April to September is good time......anyway our doves are non migratory birds.....We have them all the year here and any month you can get the best shooting no doubt.......!!!!!

I will start a Thread in the deals on hunting soon.....!!!!!

Thanks James, feel free to ask for more information....!!!!

My first ever hunting experience was in Cordoba. My luggage never showed up due to an earthquake in Chile that shut LAN Airlines down. But thankfully my shotgun did. I would have hunted in my gotchies. I loved every moment of it, even though I honestly didn't think I could lift my arms by the second day. I want to return to hunt Argentina again, but the next time for bigger game. :)

Good to know about your experiencie in Argentina WALKINGPREY.....good you got your gun at least hahaha.....is what the airlines ussualy missed......I can not see well in your picture but the shootgun seems a Beretta Urika 391....those kind of guns do a really good job here.....!!!!!

We have a very good big game here, you can find several threads I did about it and Red Stag Rut in March is simply great, worth the time and the money......!!!!

Thank you very much for your comments and pics Christina......!!!!!

I absolutely love wingshooting (who doesn't) but can you imagine trying to do this with a SxS or O/U?

Looks like fun hunt with plenty of action

Saul......many people use S/S and O/U.....no problem, I love to shoot with a Beretta silver pigeon Over Under, of course is different timing, you pick your shoots more quietly and in different way and off course at the end of the day, you shoot less sheels than with auto shotgun.....!!!!

Thanks Saul....!!!!

Yes it is enysse......these hunts are very dynamic.....impossible to be bored.....!!!!!

Thanks enysse.....!!!!

MASTER!!!!
You, my friend, are an artist of the guiding....

Marcos my friend.....We try to do our beast and offer the beast as We can, work in the details to try to get everything perfect......thats the direction hunting industry must to go in these days......!!!!!

Thank you Marcos for your kind words......!!!!!!

I believe you that it would be fun with a SxS (most of my wingshooting is done with a SxS) but my arm would get far too tired trying to keep up with all those autoloaders. When I went dove hunting in Argentina several years back, I shot a Benelli Montefeltro 20 gauge and I think it was just about perfect for high volume wingshooting. I have heard some say that the Benelli Cordoba and Benelli Vinci are even better for this, even in 12 gauge. I'm not sure about this and I think I will stick with Monte next time I get to go...if only I could find an excuse....

Totally agree with your words Saul....in a High Volume Shooting is when those type of guns starts to work and takes advantage over the rest....Benelli Montefeltro or Cordoba are both great guns....I would not know which of the two to choose.......Beretta 391 Urika is a very good gun for this job also, but Benellis has something extra.....those guns are very easy to be cleaned in the field in five minutes, I have not proven the Vinci Model yet.....!!!!!

Saul.....I hope you find a good excuse to come to visit us one more time......!!!!!

Thank you.....!!!!!

A few more images to share about the February hunting in Cordoba.........great start guys.......!!!!!

Keep going.......
