SOUTH AFRICA: The Tootabi Hunting Safaris Report & Hunt Of a Lifetime In The East Cape

I am glad I went with my gut feeling and took the chance with your new company.I told you before I remember when I started my business at 16 and was hoping for my first break.
You did what you said plus way more by the end of this hunt. There is no doubt you have big things in front of you now and will grow with each client who comes to you.
From the people I have talked with and see some more who posted here you have a big busy year coming up in 2015.Just remember I may not be there during all them hunts by I will be watching and pulling for you to keep growing and making more dreams come true.

With your family and friends behind you I know there is going to be alot of happy hunters and new friends made.Tell your family and lammie we had a great time and hope to see you as soon as I can save up again to get back.

I've said it before.....one day I will be saying "I knew that fellow and his crew before they were famous"!

Looks like a great hunt. Love the East Cape. Wish that I knew for sure that I was going back that way some day... Great photos and report. Thanks Bruce

Bill,

Glad you and Dakota had a great hunt and a great time. Thanks for sharing your memories and photos.

Loyalty is a characteristic you have in spades. It sounds like it was rewarded! We should all be honored to have friends as loyal as you.

Loodt,

While I haven't posted anything pro/con regarding the hardships you brought on yourself the last year, I will say that I have sided with your detractors. I haven't kept close tabs on your situation but it seems you have your paperwork in order and are beginning to redeem yourself. For that you are to be commended.

All the best.

Thanks wheels,I believe family and friend are to be trusted till they show they cant be trusted is all. Some times being so loyal gets me in trouble but this time it was the right call.We had a great trip and received way more then what we were even told.
Thanks again to all who commented on my report.

Thank you to all the comments above, I really appreciate it.

Wow Bill!!!!

I've read to the Kudu and need to stop now to go for my last afternoon hunt. What a great read so far!!!! Can't wait to finish it!

Congrats on the great hunt. I love your impala and your son's East Cape kudu!

Great report Bill
Some really good East Cape trophies.
Alls well that ends well.
Best regards
Dave

After everything that has been said over the past few months, those are kind words Dave.

It is posts like this and the character of the members that sets AH apart. It is also why I participate here.

All the best.

Ain't this the truth!!!

I've said it before and I will say it again. AH.com and its members make up the best, and friendliest, forum on the internet, bar none and regardless of subject matter!

The people and outfitter make this site the best out there. We may not always agree but things stay friendly for the most part with as many people as there are on this site.

Thanks dave and everyone who enjoyed the report.

You sure that eluded Billc? That picture is from Relive Taxidermy, which is who Bill is using. This mount could very well be why Bill made the choice he did. Just saying....

Yea you never know...... But Bill does put his son first and Dakota took that nice lioness. I think Bill is still waiting for a lion for himself.

And this one looks...... um, male... sort of.

I suspect it is really just some of the fallout from Billc sweeping through there and leaving things like this in his wake!

P.S. Loodt is just fortunate that he got off with a tee shirt and none of the pink bows.... as for the other accessory item.... Well ,,,,,, hard to know for sure?

Wow help a guy out and I get this.LOL I guess you found the page to look at the mounts.
Royal if you and bob keep up like this I may just need to come to dallas to dsc to talk with your wives.

As for loodt he already had plenty of pink stuff before I got to the cape.I did not want to bring it up but seeing that little pink bow sticking out of his shorts when he got us at the airport had me worried alittle..

Now I've seen it all. A lion wearing a pink banana hammock.

Bill spends a couple weeks in Africa and he has already changed the course of nature!

All you going to loodts this year should start to worry now.Who knows what awaits all of you there. The only way to be safe is for all you to get together and get me that ticket to go with.I can clear my work so I can be there when warbird gets there till royal and tim hunt to.
Dobber is out of luck as he does not go to aug so he will need to get me a ticket on his own after all I need to come home to work sometime.
