Has anyone had the opportunity to hunt with Kuche Safaris? I'm looking into a plains game hunt for next year and have called several references but want the chance to see if anyone on the forum had any experiences with them. Thanks in advance

Hello Jgriffin80, My wife and I just got back from hunting with Koos @ Kuche Safaris. We had the best time of our lifes with them. My wife shot a 24.75" heavy horned impala, and a blue wildbeest. I shot baboon, gembok, blue wildbeest, brown blesbok, a huge zebra and a kudu. All the animals were of trophy size. Our camp was not over run with other hunters there was just a father and son there the same time as us which we really enoyed. The food was awesome. I think that Max the chief could cook a rock and it would taste dilicious. Our Ph Leon was amazing he could judge the animals in the blink of a eye as they ran through the brush. I could go on and on but to sum it up we are planning on going back in 2016. You can dm me if you would like for more info.

I just returned from SA on June 6th and I spent 10 days with Koos at Kuche Safaris. This was my 2nd safari and it was wonderful. The food was incredible, the lodge was awesome and the staff was kind and attentive. I took 6 animals on this trip including a great Waterbuck and Black Wildebeest. The other 4 were great also but these 2 were my favorites. I have already begun to plan for a trip in 2016! I can't wait!

Was Leon not the best or what? I didn't quit laughing the entire trip! And Max and his butternut squash soup! I too and going back in 2016 and I can't wait!

Kudukiller, Absolutely Leon was the best. Leon was dedicated to making sure we took mature animals in the trophy class. This allowed us to be able see lots of game making the trip that much better. Koos De Myer has a top notch operation with excellent staff. Before I went to Africa many people warned me that when I got back all I would think about would be going back Africa WOW were they right.

Tell me about it, I was planning on what I would go after the next trip before that trip was even over. It is in my blood now and I am planning my 3rd trip. The downside is I am running out of "cheap" animals to bring home!

So my friend won an auction at a DU Banquet for a PG hunt with Kuche Safaris. We get three animals each. Sounds like a blue wildebeest, a blesbuck, 2 warthogs, and 2 impalas. What was your opinion of Kuche? They seem like they’re a very good guide service.

You'll have a great time. Look at adding Kudu- they have some very big ones. And my one regret hunting with them was I didn't add a Bushbuck. I've been on two hunts since where Bushbuck isn't on the game list and now I really want one. Didn't know what I didn't know on that first trip.

We won a trip with Kuche a couple of years back and was able to go last year. Koos is a stand up man and you won’t be disappointed in the quality of service they deliver. They take care of their customers from the time you land to the time you fly out. I found the purse strings open up a bit more when you see those animals in front of you. You’re going to have fun.

Yes, I hunted with Kuche safari last August. I'm 76 and this hunt was the best I've EVER Been on in my lifetime. Koo's family and staff really take care of their hunters. I was assigned PH Craig Dewing a perfect match for me. I was blessed to take a Buffalo, Eland, Sable and Nyala. I'd go with Kuche Safaris tomorrow if I could. You won't be disappointed...

Until this guy posts something on pay it forward free I would avoid him at all costs.

If it hasn't sold by next week I might be interested. Stock would have to be changed along with some other items. I'm already having a 416 Rigby built so money is a tad bit tight.

Hey pal! I'll take all the .375 bullets if they're available.
Thanks!
