This sale is for a Ruger Safari RSM MKII in 375 H&H magnum. This rifle comes with a Leupold 1.5-5 multi-plex reticule. The rifle is excellent throughout and I would rate an easy 98% or better. A couple of very light handling marks and that's it. Round count is about 120 rds. Very nice wood as well. $ 1700.00 shipped to you in a hard case. I have a 30-06 safari advertised as well. I am willing to make a package deal not including shipping as these guns are heavy.

Beautiful gun! Being a Ruger guy, it's stunning.

Thanks....they are nice guns. The 06 is very nice as well. Don't see to many of those.

Heym, I have one of these in .416 Rigby built in 2000. RSMs are some of the most beautiful "standard" rifles I have seen. Now that I have seen a .375 and 3006 that you have for sale, you have only confirmed my belief!

Thanks Sierraone. I had one in 416 as well and it was gorgeous. I hate to sell these, but the 470 Searcy is stunning as well.If I can get these sold soon, I can pick up my double in two weeks. Maybe there priced a little high?? . Guess we'll see what happens.

come on guys..somebody needs this rifle.. Reduced to $ 1600.00 plus shipping.

Got a "lay away plan"??????........LOL

Naaaa...wouldn't help my 470 anytime soon. I'm surprised no one's jumped on the 06 for 1200.00. Package deal would be way to go.

Hi Heym, I may be interested in these 2 rifles as a package if still available, but have a few questions for ya. I'm somewhat familiar with RSM's and have shot both .375 and .416, but have never seen one in .30-06. Is the overall weight and the stock geometry pretty much the same on the '06 as on the .375? Just thinking might be a little "husky" for an '06...
How are the triggers on both rifles? Not looking for specific weight or anything, just wondering if they are pretty shootable as is. Gotta ask, you just never know with Ruger triggers :) I've had a couple that are surprisingly good and others that were almost unshootable.
I am assuming you bought these both new? What year(s) (approx) did you acquire them?
Also, what part of the country are you in? Thinking about what shipping cost may be. I have an FFL and a UPS account, just FYI. And just so I don't give the wrong impression I am not a dealer, my interest in these guns is for my personal use.
Got any thoughts on price for both?
Let me know and thank you!

Ida,
I think I got the 06 around 1999 and the 375 before that..maybe 1997ish. The 06 is a scaled down version of the heavier 375. It weighs about 2.5 pounds less than 375's. it's stock is standard and fits good. The triggers on both guns are excellent. I could prolly take $ 2600.00 plus shipping of about $ 80.00 . Ships in new hard cases. 80.00 covers both guns. Thanks.

oh yea... I'm in South Carolina...thanks Ida.

OK Heym, you have yourself a deal :) $2600 +$80 shipping (approx. total) for both, shipped in hard cases to me in Boise, ID.
I just got home from work and am headed back out the door. You OK wrapping up transaction details and exchanging info over the next couple days? Tonight and tomorrow are pretty hectic for me.
Let me know if this satisfactory to you.
Thanks!

Congrats to you both! I. Still don't know how you parted with one of those beauties Heym 88?

enysse you are correct. It's not easy parting with these Rugers. If it wasn't for a beautifull Searcy double 470, I wouldn't be letting them go. The faster I get my double, the faster I can save for Safari. My daughter graduates from college this spring with a double major, THEN I"M Done LOL. I told her I don't go to Africa till she finishes college. She comes first. Now if I can just live that long LOL. Seems like they are going to a good home. I still have a NIB Winchester model 70 Safari Express in 375 H&H. As well as a mint pre-64 M70 in 300 H&H. So I still have enough bolt guns.. Thanks for the congrats!

Thank you enysse :)
Hi Heym 88, I will get in contact via email and we'll get 'er done :) Congrats on your daughter's graduation! Tremendous accomplishment for both you. You should be very proud!
As for a good home, it's obvious they have been in good care for the last decade and a half and I intend to continue that legacy :) They will probably be going to to Africa with me next year and with a little luck you'll see them in a few pics posted here. Based on info you have already provided it sounds like the '06 has been mostly keeping an eye on things at home, but how about the .375? If you wind up with a moment to share it's history with us that might be fun to know. Any travels and game stories in its past?
Thanks again Heym, I'm looking forward to unwrapping them. Gonna be like Christmas in July :) I'm happy for you too on the arrival of your Searcy .470. We will all be looking forward to seeing some pics!
Talk to you soon.
Dan

Dan, the 375 never saw any hunting, a few trips to the range. The small imperfections are safe rash..LOL. Talk to you soon.
Now if I could only sell my sniper rifle..lol.

Nooooo! The sniper rifle has to stay:eek: pretty sure your just jokin' :D Although I know from first hand experience just how expensive daughters can be. Especially when they go off to college! Then they get married... And give you grandkids... God help you my friend, you're going to be right there in the boat with the rest of us!
Whatcha got for a sniper rifle, anyway? I have a 6.5 x 47 Lapua built on a Lawton action with Lilja barrel, Badger bottom metal, YHM suppressor and Leupold Mark 4 6.5-20. Love it! Absolute one hole gun.

Well..she hasn't graduated yet. She will in May 2015 with double major. Iv'e been in sniper community for a while. Time to let it go. Africa is my goal. It's a FN SPR 2nd generation with Badger 20moa mount, and badger rings. Professionaly painted with duracoat, Leupold M-1 LR mil-dot side focus, sling, and custom Pelican case for it. It shoots 1/2 MOA all day long. Round count is 120. For $ 1500.00 theres not a better deal anywhere.

Ida, you put me over the top....here she is...
