375 H&H Reload info Barnes TSX

Hi Everyone

Has anyone had some results or can anyone assist with some loading optons for my cz375 H&H on 270g Barnes TSX bullets using Somchem S335 powder.
I have some Winchester Magnum Primers, 270g Barnes TSX bullets (No 37556) want to use the S335 Powder, and run a medium load thinking around 62g according to charts.

I tried them using Hodgdon Varget, not sure how that compares to S335. Accurate load, but the velocity gain I had over the 300gr version wasn't all that impressive in my rifle. I would have just stuck with the 300gr version.
 
According to the Somchem website, start load is 59.9g & max is 66.5 for the 270g TSX. So your load looks perfect.

Thanks, I started one load at 60, 61, & 62g so will need to check and chrony for results etc. Cheers thanks for input.

Ok, will have to give the 300gr a try aswell !
 
Can't help you with the 270gr, but I use the 300gr TSX with S335.
My load is 64g, Win Mag primers, OAL 91.1, Crimped...
Great results... Hope it helps!!!
 
Sorry, made a mistake.... the load is 61g for my Barnes TSX Loads
For my Frontier spartan 300gr I push it up to 64g... Sorry for any inconvenience....
 
Personally I rather use the 250 grains TTSX.
I use that in my .375 Ruger.
The 300 grains TSX has a bc of .357 while the 250 grains TTSX has the bc of .424.
It easy to see the huge benefits of the 250 grains TTSX compared with the 270 grains or 300 grains TSX bullets for longer shots.
Higher speeds, better bc, expands more easily at lower speeds, but still do a great job at short ranges.
What is not to like :)

I'd agree with that if you're looking for a PG bullet. I pushed 2900fps in my M70 with these and H4895. Ultimately I used North Fork Bonded Cores in 250gr, but the TTSX would I'm sure had been very effective too.
