Hi Guys

I have an extra Leopard tag available for the 2014 hunting season.

The package hunt includes:

12 days day rate for one hunter
1 trophy fee for Leopard
baiting fee for pre baiting and during the hunt
airport pick-up & return
Tag fee
All camp services
Transportation during the hunt.

This hunt will sell on our price list for U$ 14261

I'm selling it for U$ 10000.00 and if there is an observer U$ 11000.00

If we don't get a cat then the final bill will be U$ 5000.00

The hunt will take place on my 25000 acre ranch North West of Namibia. The ranch is about 2.5 hours drive from the airport. I have seen lately lots of cat tracks and lost 8 calves early in the year due to Leopard so I think we have a 75% chance of bagging one.

If I wasn't already going to Zim this summer I'd be asking for references....

This could be a great deal and should sell quickly. Ahh, to be retired with unlimited funds!!! :)

Someone is gonna get a great deal on a cat hunt. Bruce

Roy, is this on your place or another property?
Do you have any photos you can share of some Leopards?

Brick clean off your glasses it said his own 25,000 acre ranch.I want you to be able to see the pics when he post them

I'll clean them off. Hard to get TWO, i.e.. "Extra" permits on the same property now, given MET's new allocation process. Just a little confused, actually not blind. :)

Oh, yeah. I could not find any Leopard trophy pictures in the Gallery here or on the web. If you find one Bill post it for me.

Damn Bill I found a picture from 2011. Optometrist appointment next week.

lol you may just need new lenses.Thats a good looking cat I think. One day maybe the spotted cat will happen for us.

Sounds like a very fair price for a leopard. Good luck in getting the hunt sold.

All the best.

What dates specifically for your 2014 season?
I just looked on SA Airways website and flights marry up perfectly and at reasonable price from Brisbane to Windhoek for mid September. Hmmm very interested.
The only thing holding me back is the issue of not being allowed to bring back any part of the trophy into Australia. Bloody do-gooder minority groups and their CITIES ban.

Drew, I'll import it into Canada for you. Just being a nice guy.

Very kind and tempting offer. From both you and Roy.
Seriously it wouldn't take much twisting of my arm to throw down a deposit. I am even partial to Windhoek Beer after a long day!
I am just in the middle of doing a bit more research on the subject. Finding a bit hard to navigate my way around the new look website, but I know the information is here, just got to find the Namibia section.

What are you looking for Drew?

Found it.
Just general information on Namibia's policies on energy levels for rifle hunted game and now looking at Namibia's gov website regarding visa on arrival for Australian citizens.
Thanks for your concern, Mr Brickburn. Much appreciated.
My next step before I can go any further is to now go to my boss on my knees and beg for 2 weeks off sometime between now and November.

Happy begging. Glad you found the info.

Hi Brickburn

It depends on which tag I use, I have one on my property and one on another property that is about 20 minutes drive from me. I have a client coming in August and I will bait both properties and see where my chances are best at that stage. The other property I have is also 25000 Acres. Both properties have a lot of dry river beds which Leopards love. The Omaruru area in Namibia is known for lots of cats. I lost in December last year 8 calves in one month and the owner of the other property is loosing goats quickly.

I can load pictures I just don't know how, I've never loaded any pictures here before.

Hi Drew

I have July open, October and November. I'm still busy with my client with my first tag to see if he will come in September or August, we're busy adjusting dates on that hunt.

Deposit sent!
A new leupold light absorbing scope has been ordered. Will reconfirm dates this week. Thanks. Looking forward to your hospitality.

great news drew . hope it comes together for you ,mate.

It was a decision that didn't come lightly!
My main hunting partner and I have already committed ourselves to a return to Zimbabwe next year with Sango Safari's.
This time I will be going alone.
But you only live once and I can't get some of the species I closed the deal (from Namibia) not available in Zim.
Bloody same about our CITIES restriction in Australia. These bloody do gooder's just don't get it!
Last year(May/June 2013 in Bubye, Zim Leopard were showing signs of being everywhere), certainly not an endangered species in that area!
With work constraints, not much time to prepare or to hunt, but hope to give a better right up this time of a hunt report when back home.
