Awesome !!! More info. Where , when , what size lures and tackle are you using on these brutes ?

Are these a subspecies of the tigers we get down South ? Are they goliath tigers like they get in the congo ?

You must have some good tiger fishing your way Mike ?

yup not bad, we are involved with zambezi kingfisher lodge on the lower zambezi so jaunt there once in awhile.

very cool fish George.
what is the secret combo ,mate?

Are they good eating ??

It is in the Selous game reserve. We have a camp there for fishing. Best time starting form August and ends in November depending on the rain. We use fly as well as conventional especially in the other rivers that are more murky. Both with great success. The one is 15 kg and he was caught on fly. We go over 20 pounds on a regular basis.
We get vundu, tilapia rhino fish and robber that we target.

No bad eating very bony...

Thanx

Awesome George . Have you ever fished the Rovuma river , between Moz and Tanzania ? I've always wondered if it would have good fishing ?

Beautifull tigers, must put up a hell of a fight.
