Idiots. Hope they were happy with the charge.

All I could think while watching this was WTF?!!! are these people thinking. There was every opportunity to shoot the lion while he was sitting still. The lion almost seemed to be trying to commit suicide he sat still for so long.

Walking in for what reason? 20 yards not close enough? May as well have fixed bayonets at that point. And holding the rifle casually off the shoulder? Had a low ready position not been invented yet?

Do you not think this is two different hunts made into one film for dramatic affect? Note the burnt vegetation and the almost paralyses on the first half of the video, then the fuzzy bit next we in long grass with possibly a different lion that got the jump on these hunters?
Also no dog in the second half?

you seem to be right. No grass to tall grass. Made to look like the great white hunter and not the guy that almost got killed.

It was Mark Sullivan's Grandfather! :ROFLMAO:

Looks like a piece of the clip is missing between the final charge and the man being grabbed, there is no indication of shots (unless we can't hear them) then suddenly the lion is almost dead and only needs a one in the chest!
I agree about the grandfather! I think it was made up to soothe some egos!

I would be interested in it if you pass. Please send me the info on the gun shop if you do not buy it. I have the needed ammo and brass.
Thanks,
