Myself and friend Tom travel from Texas on a 10 day African Safari to Namibia to hunt plains game. Shooting our TROPHY animals in just a matter of days, both filled remainder of time shooting CULLS, and myself - a whole lot of BIRDS when they came in !??!

Tom recovered his 13+ animals, out of 12- I did not recover a kudu and impala.

An outstanding resort and target rich 75,000 acre ranch. Both guides were ELITE in their experience and assistance- more than we could ask for.

The STAFF back at the lodging were helpful, accommodating and a pleasure to socialize with.

If you looking for a 5 star AFRICAN HUNTING adventure, this ranch is it !

glad you had a good time/hunt at ozondjahe. i dont want to put a damper on your enjoyment, but i must confess the video/music doesnt do a lot for me. it would have been more interesting to have shown a bit of the lodge etc along with some of the animals being taken, instead of a parade of animals being arrowed one after another. not sure the slow motion playbacks were needed either. i feel that these types of video and headings of, "20+ kill shots on loads of animals" or "target rich", doesnt reflect that well on hunting........................regards mike

Mike,...
Thanks for your opinion. All entitled to them.
I make my videos as I see fit. I found that 10 days of amazing action warrented a fast paced, action sequence to mimic the "target rich " environment this ranch had to offer.
I've been to many ranches that lacked such action and made for tuff and slow hunting. Going to a well established ranch and having the season and little rainfall all made for condusive elements to make for great hunting.
My style of video and view is opposite of yours - no worries. - c

What distance were you guys shooting? Looked like some string jumps. I'd like to do a crossbow hunt there.

Congratulations on your successful hunt

The Giraffe arrived....Love it.

Congratulations to the Designer.

The lodge looks great.

Thats a shit load of animals to poke! Congrats to you both.

Great safari. Definitely action packed.

You both did your part very well with some great bow shots there that you captured for all of us to appreciate. Thanks for the great review!

Looks like you had a good to great time.

Video was built for You Tube i see and you did a good job. It is hard to build a video that appeals to everyone. Some times the music or the sequence is what is taken objection to. For 2 hunters the action needed to be fast paced to get the footage in. Or you could have built 2 separate videos for the 2 of you and showed a little more slow paced format.

You built a self video that you shared with us and you did a good job in my opinion.

By the way you have some nice trophy's.

What broadhead were you using?

Was using 175grain samuri BH's from alaskabowhunting.com

64lb draw weight
30 inch draw
11.3 GPI FMJ arrow

I too am glad that you had a good time and a successful hunt. I also think from a technical aspect the video was done quite well. However, I do tend to agree with Mike that the video seems to showcase a 'parade of animals being arrowed one after another' rather than portraying an overall field and hunting experience. Just my view.

Congrats on good hunt. Both videos are great. Great to hear some Afrikaans music in video no2.
