Information about Tusk and Hide Safaris Inc. / agent based in USA

Could any one please help with information on Tusk and Hide Safaris Inc. / agent based in the USA.
We have enormous problems getting hold of him after paying him money to act on our behalf.
Before we submitted the fees he was calling about every day. Now we cannot get hold of him and he is not doing what he has said.
Would appreciate any information.

Have had exactly the same thing happen to me and this was with the same company almost one and a half years ago.
I have given up trying to get hold of them and have written of the money. I would love to get hold of them and my money ofcourse.

If I may ask, what was the money paid to this agent for?

It was money that was supposed to go towards marketing over the Tusk and Hide web-site and also for hunting shows.

There were two sites Destination Wild and Tusk and Hide Safaris.
Firstly i dealt with Destination Wild and then with T&H Safaris.
But that is the one site!

Both domain names destinationwild.com and tuskandhidesafaris.com are registered under the same name... Here are some emails and phone numbers that you may not have and want to try. It seems that he has been avoiding the both of you since he got your money... Is Jason Rodriguez the person that you have been dealing with?

They charged us US$1300.00
They even have the savy of going onto face book under Tusk and Hides.
The guy we worked?! with was a Dave. Jason does the correspondence work.
Now I would rather pay the money to you for advertising that these guys!! There is another guy in S.A. how has the same experience. What can we do about it? I think it is only fair to warn others.

I did a Google search under the telephone number 1.866.450.9453, it seems that this number is/was also associated with a company called Wilder Outdoors Inc.

I did a Google search under the telephone number 1.218.744.0435, this number is also listed with a company called Lava Leopard Geckos Inc., here is their website: www.lavaleopardgeckos.com. The contact page has two emails, one for Jay and another for Brandon... The BBB list the address as 2438 Murphy Point Rd, Eveleth, Minnesota 55734, USA, so they are the same people.

I wonder how many more?
Could any one of the S.A. outfitters place a request in their PHASA or hunting organizations
web site or via their email for them to come forward. I will notify NAPHA . What do you think Jerome?

We had the same experience,they took $4000 out off our company bank account,then could not refund payment and exchanged it for 4 shows in the US which never happened and was booked for 2011 season.The contact was Jay by name. Robbie kruger safaris allso went through this ordeal.In fact we are still on their web page.There is no way to contact these guys and get a response back.I have tried to get hold of them through my US office but no luck.Allso no clients booked so far.Spend your time and effort on new marketing , i have wasted to much money and time trying to get hold of them,Better luck next time!!!

I was contacted by a guy same company but i think he called himself Joe . I had to deposit $ 6000.00 to his account for adverts in a mag but i told him i am not interested , a few days later he call again this time the same deal but only $ 4000.00 that's when i did smell something and i was sure it was Sh...t . I told him to forget about me and try somebody else, man am i glad. Hope you guys can get something going. Sorry to hear about your deal.

I think that anyone who has been affected should notify both NAPHA and PHASA requesting the association to warn their members of these people's activity so that no one else gets taken...

They also contacted myself under the name Destination Wild, $ 4000 later no marketing, clients and no contact any more. They "have a group of 8 clients that is ready to pay deposits" and even got dates for the safari. This was almost 3 years ago.

I was contacted by a gentleman called Benito Ricketts he represents a company called Activity and Outdoor I purchased an advert for R10 000.

This guy has not gotten back to me nor have I seen any proof that this company truly exists after making my payment?
