Bapu, thats a nice stock you plan taking , any personal preferences to hunt in Namibia ? SA and Tanzania are also very fine hunting destinations you can opt for these places may be some other time I have hunted in Tanzania and its a hunters paradise.
You have to planout with your outfitter what he can prioritize on the palins game list for you.
have a nice hunt and may you bag fantastic trophies, but only unfortunate and sad part would be you wont be able to hang them on your trophy room walls as you know our country does not let them in .

Bapu,
You can list on a Kudu, implala gemsbok, warthog, steenbuk/duiker,zebra if you plan a 7 day safari. that I presume is a good selection.

Hi Bapu,
I hunted with Arno in June 2011
Everything was awesome. Success was 100%; and trophy quality was excellent.

Lajka (Kris) Welcome to AH...if it would not an issue would you start a new forum thread with your Safari Story and include some of your trophy pictures that we all like to look at and drool over..
Bapu - Welcome to AH and as Monish has indicated you should have a very good safari...when you return would you be so kind to post your story and some pictures?

Bapu,
We hunted on two farms.
Aloegrove Farm - North of Otjiwarongo. (Hartman Zebra, Oryx and Warthog)
Wabi Farm - around Waterberg Plateau (Kudu,Impala,Red Hartebeest, Springbook )
Both of the farms have plenty of trophy class animals.

Kris,
I just returned from a hunt in Zambia and hunted in conncession (GMA) areas,I do not know how interesting it will be to hunt on a few thousand hecters farm where the game scout of the farm knows all his animals and its trophy size. I would like to hunt in GMA areas like the Kalahari in the south and Capari area in north.

Hi Bapu
We know Arno very well as he uses our Taxidermy in Otjiwarongo.
Otjiwarongo Taxidermy in Namibia for his clients. Let me know should you have any questions with regards to your taxidermy work and shipping.
With regards to the hunting I can recommend Arno as he has guided for us also on some occasions at Osonjiva.

A good friend and I spent 8 days hunting with La Bips last September. It was the first hunting trip to Africa for both of us and we were both very pleased with Arno.
We hunted NW of Ojitawarongo (Alovegrove) in the bushveld and then moved south to the Kalahari. Arno is a hard working and very knowledgeable PH, not only with the hunting side of things but also with the flora and fauna of Namibia.
We did a side trip to Etosha National Park and that, in my opinion, is must if you choose to hunt with him, it was worth a lot more than the money we paid. It was outstanding..
The food and accommodation was very good and easily exceeded our expectations, and added to that, Arno is excellent company.
Would I hunt with him again...in a heartbeat!!
