well - I am gonna take a 45/70 Guide gun and if it looks like I can get as close 200 yards -- use that the place we will be hunting though - may not allow that close distance. I don't really see the possibility of buying another gun before Jan If I need I will borrow a 7mm Mag or...

I love the look of a Zebra skin rug - but does anyone make a rug out of an Oryx skin? they are also striking looking ... just curious would the hide be too thick?

Thanks for all the hellos and welcomes. In addition to Oryx, I also drew a New Mexico Deer tag. I'm also excited about that. I got an archery Elk there in '10. New Mexico has been pretty good to me drawing tags. here is a pic of that little bull - probably a 3 1/2 year old...
