Gert van der Walt asked me to post this picture of one of his clients with a big leopard. This is the 30th leopard that Gert has guided hunters to. I don't have any details on the hunt, but it is a big cat. He is off hunting elephants right now, but said he would fill in the details when he returns.

Does anyone know about the Namibian regulations on giving a ph a rifle as a tip? I understand I would have to comply with the U.S. export regs.

I think it is a great idea. I have several friends who would love to go hunt, but every time I mention it their wives freak out. I usually hear some combination of ebola, AIDS, revolution, kidnapping, dangerous animals/snakes/scorpions etc, cannibalism, sleeping sickness, malaria and the list...

I don't know all of the answers to your questions, but I do know that they make a great squirrel dog. They are also good pets by the way.
