ZIMBABWE: Elephant, Leopard, Cape Buffalo & Plains Game with Nyamazana Safaris

Great yarn Edge, appreciate you taking the time to retell it. You could get it published, I’m sure a magazine would seriously look at it.

    Heym SR30 straight pull

Awesome piece of machining with a novel bolt lock-up. A mate of mine has one in 9.3x62- I’ve hassled him several times to sell it to me, sadly with no effect!

    Ruger Hawkeye FYI

Good stocks for heavy recoiling rifles. They’re not the lightest composite stocks but that’s not what you want on 338, 375, 416 anyway. Nice lines too. Will you remove the forend sling swivel?

Freighting rifle to and from hunting destination?

Does this happen much? I'm considering sending a rifle via courier rather than have hassles at airports? Anyone ever tried it?

Great story, pics and evident respect for your quarry. Excellent wit too, all good hunting stories have good humour!

SOUTH AFRICA: First Ever Trip To Africa My Wife & I Hunted With Kei River Safari

Great photos, that is the most interesting terrain I've seen in RSA. Like you said, not what you'd expect Africa to look like.
