I ended up with 17 and that's only because my PH put the brakes on me!!!
I still have Gemsbuck, Sable, Waterbuck, Nyala, more Kudu, Lechwe and Mtn Reedbuck on my want list. I'm sure there will be more. Likely a few color phase critters too!
They can both jump the average game fences so in theory you may consider them free range... Like our moose they'll clear 8' fences. Have seen it happen.
Yes but we have RIDICULOUS wait times for some animals and if you're a non resident you can buy the tag... Not speaking of the handful of ministers tags. Native 'sustinence' hunting is another BS thing we have in Alberta...
Yep that's hunting in Alberta... Great if you're a non-resident, but for the locals it's not great. If you are from out of province and have money it's better than being a resident.
If it were the case when I was hunting I would have shot a Nyala, a Waterbuck and a Gemsbok over and above the animals I took on our hunt.
Our PH's were great and we had no pressure to shoot anything at any time.
