Just hours into the first afternoon of hunting in the Waterburg district of South Africa, we came across a herd of Impala. This one was in the middle of the herd, but seemed to stand out. After waiting on the sticks for a couple of minutes for the animals behind it to clear, the shot was taken.
Distance was less than 100 meters and the rifle is a CZ550 in 9.3x62mm Mauser.
