Looking for Jean van der Berg of White African International Filming

I have not heard from Jean for about 6 weeks and was wondering if any one has heard from him or knows how to reach him. Thanks for your help.

I can not find this guy, which is saying a lot.
Not a very good prognosis.

I went to Jean's house, no one was there. I left a note on the door to contact Jofie Lamprecht asap.

I dont think you guys are going to come right. 3 other Outfitters in the Northern Cape is looking for this guy regarding outstanding clients DVD's and Outfitters Promo's.

Guys, be aware of this character, he use to work for me as a freelance cameraman and behind my back took clients of mine and started his own thing. Funny though, he only started this April and he already has a terrible name in the industry.

Last i heard he was seen in Grahamstown filming skydiving or something.

I am also looking for him as he stole some of my camera equipment which i want back. If I hear anything I will let you guys know.

Thank you for the information. He filmed our 12 day safari back in May of this year. He said it would be 3 months to receive our film. Communication was good for the first 3 months then went bad. The last two months did not answer any e-mails. After 5 and a half months are PH got in touch with him and he sent a film. It is very poor quailty. The color is bad he left a lot out and 3 of the 4 disks he sent us would not play. Fortunately our PH has a copy of all the raw footage and is sending it to us. Thanks for the reply.

One of my Cameramen spotted Jean last night in a club here in Bloemfontein and called me at 11PM, the cameraman confronted him in the bathroom and told him that a few people are looking for him and that there are consequences. He was very rattled and scared and told my Cameraman that yesterday evening he called and emailed everyone he owed footage to and everything is now handeled.

I am going to email this to Jofie to find out if he contacted him, I called Liam Urry (Operator), Jean did not call him nor an editor he used in Kimberley.

Thanks for the information. I think we are done with Jean and his company White African International Flims. By not replying to us it tells us he has no intention of making things right. After hearing of this Liam of Liam Urry Safaris got in touch with us and said he would have a new film put together. He also said he would cover all costs. Fortunately he has a copy of all the raw footage of our Safari. That's what I call a stand up guy to take money from his pocket to fix another companies mess. Liam took such good care of me and my family (7 of us) on our Fantastic Safari with him. We are all planning to return as soon as possible. Thanks again

I did get the videos from Liam they turned out great. My son is savvy to all this computer technology I can turn it on and use the e-mail. I will see if he will put a few clips on.
