I have just finished reading "Killing for Profit." Very very interesting expose on Rhino poaching. Certainly leaves you with the feeling he has touched the tip of the iceberg, but it exposes some interesting relationships.
Apart from the topical interest, it also poses a few tricky questions for one of the members of this forum!

The Author:
Julian Rademeyer is an award-winning investigative journalist. He has written and worked for many of South Africa's major newspapers including City Press, Beeld, the Sunday Times, Pretoria News and The Herald. He has been a stringer for Reuters and freelanced for the Sydney Morning Herald and the Australian Associated Press.
Until he resigned to write this book, he was chief reporter for Media24 Investigations. In a career spanning two decades, he has reported from some of the world's most troubled countries including Somalia, Equatorial Guinea, Niger, Belarus, Egypt and Lebanon.
In 2005 he won the Vodacom Journalist of the Year award for print news. He was a recipient of the 2009 Mondi Shanduka Newspaper Award for hard news. I put two and two together on this subject a long time ago. Where there is smoke, there is a fire.... If a guy is willing to poach rhinos for profit....what else will he do??? I have zero trust with people like this.
