By way of introduction.....
Hi all,
I am planning my first trip to Africa with my son who will be graduating high school in 2012. We have been looking for an adventure trip for his graduation, what better than an Africa safari. We live in north central Idaho near the Salmon and Snake Rivers. We have opportunities to hunt mule deer, white tails, elk, black bear, cougar, moose etc.
We also spend a fair amount of time chasing waterfowl.
I love the anticipation and planning of a trip like this and hope I can glean some knowledge from those more experienced than I.
Thanks,
Bryan

Bryan,
Welcome aboard.
That country you live in is some of the most beautiful in the lower 48.
As a died in the wool waterfowler I have to tell you I love your handle "Quackaslaya" Hahahhaaha!
Planning your safari is half the fun. I found the "Ultimate Safari Planning Guide" here on AH to be very helpful.
Best of luck.
