G'day from New Zealand
G'day,
I have been lurking on this forum for a bit now, trying to absorb as many of the "lessons learned" as possible.
I get out a fair bit hunting here on the South Island of New Zealand.....lots of pest control...rabbits, goats, pigs...also deer, and legging it for chamois and tahr on occasion.
I've always wanted to do some hunting in Africa and in conjunction with me being in the region for work I now have the chance to do so as I'm flying out within the week for a plains game hunt in South Africa with Kevin Thomas Safaris.
I look forward to returning in a month and being able to write up a hunt report and some photos from a memorable trip!

Welcome to AH and good luck on your hunt. Looking forward to seeing some pictures.
I hope to get down to NZ one of these days. A beautiful country.
