Botswana compared to South Africa
How does the prices for hunting compare between Botswana and South Africa. Is Botswana cheaper ?
What would make the difference between choosing the destination ? How much does price have to do with it ?
How many people would maybe like to do both countries on 1 trip ?
Thanks

I think some of the ranch hunts are comparable in price.
For me quality of game, size of the property and price of the hunt are pretty important factors. Food, accomodations and people you hunt with do count too.

In Botswana non ranch hunting is virtually only elephant, which is fairly expensive. Botswana ranch hunts, which feature plains game, are competitively priced with those in SA. One advantage in going to Botswana is that you can include a side trip in the Okavango Delta, which is spectacular.

Willem,
Don't know what the answer is on your first few Questions, but, your last question I can answer (not speaking for anyone else) I personally think it would be fantastic to hunt in 2 different countries while on one hunting trip. I think I damn near did hunt in Botswana, when we went to Renier and Dave's farm.
