HUNTING CONGO - Brazzaville: Bongo in the Congo
Saaiman Safaris has acquired the hunting concession in the North Eastern area of the French Congo bordering Cameroon and the Central African Republic. Brazzaville is located in the Republic of the Congo, which is an independent country from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). This area has never been hunted before and is ideal for a safari operation. The concession has been awarded for a 20 year period, and stretches of 4 provinces.
Structure of a hunting expedition is as follows:
- Fly directly to Brazzaville in Congo, and stay over in a hotel for the night.
- Our representative will meet you at the airport to escort you through the process and
take you to the VIP lounge
- Take a connecting flight the next morning to Ouesso for $100.
- Your PH will pick you up at the airport, drive to the camp (+/- 40 minutes)
The following prices apply for a hunting expedition to the Congo:
1) 12 Day Bongo hunt $ 30 000
1. Add Dwarf Buffalo $ 8 000 or
2. Add Sitatunga $ 8 000 or
3. Add Yellow Backed Duiker $ 8 000
(Above prices only apply if added to your bongo hunt, if you add any of the
above animals, your hunt becomes a 15 day hunt)
2) 10 Day Forrest Buffalo hunt $ 20 000
3) 10 Day Sitatunga hunt $ 20 000
4) 10 Day Yellow Backed Duiker hunt $ 20 000
5) Prices for extra animals:
a. Black Fronted Duiker $ 2 000
b. Peter’s Duiker $ 2 000
c. Blue Duiker $ 1 000
d. Bay Duiker $ 2 000
e. Red River Hog $ 2 000
f. Giant Forrest Hog $ 3 500
The following terms and conditions apply to these prices:
1. Package prices are all inclusive and are quoted per person
2. Package price does not include flights to and from Brazzaville, the connecting
flights to and from Ouesso at $200 for a return flight, accommodation in Brazzaville
before and after the hunt, and export of trophies to the client’s country.
3. Deposit of 50% required to secure booking
4. Balance is payable in full at arrival at camp before hunt commences.
5. Hunting Season is open between 1 May and 30 November
