Hunting in Azerbaijan 2011 is starting

Dear friends, dear hunters, I would like to inform you, that hunting season in Azerbaijan will start soon -from May 2011 to October 30.

As you know East Caucasian Tur counts both towards the Ovis and Capra World Slams.

How much does a Tur hunt cost?

Thanks for question. Cost of hunting depends on how many hunters in group. Roughly rate:

1 hunter-7700 USD
2 hunter- 6700 USD per hunter
3 hunter- 5700 USD per hunter
4 hunter- 4800 USD per hunter
5-6 hunter- 4400 USD per hunter

I can say this price include ALL (not only international ticket and tips)

Meeting and customs clearance at Baku international airport
Hotel in Baku before and after the hunt ( 1st and last days)
Import / export permits for weapons
All transfers and ground transports

Accommodation in hunting house (light, hot shower, restroom)

So if hunter fly from USA ticket will cost (I think) 1000$ and tips depends on hunter wish from 100$ and up. Accommodation and meals in Baku I will pay myself. Visa for Azerbaijan is openings in hunter country.

So it is not a secret hunter who shot TUR should be proud of himself, but for this mountain hunt reasonable fitness is needed.
