I have not used an outfitter, because I don't have to.
I'll PM you a contact from central Alberta.
A friend just used them for a Cougar hunt and was satisfied.
If all else fails please contact any of these guys and come take a few.

Thanks for the reply, I sent them an email
Good luck.
Having just gone on an ID wolf hunt, I will say that if you are going to be hunting around Boise and not out further into the sticks, the odds of getting a wolf are pretty low. Our outfitter hadn't scored on a wolf in 5 guided hunts this year. We hunted for quite a few days and only saw them at 1500 yards. While we have a gun set up for 1000 yards, that's way too far to shoot for us. Also, be prepared for horses and snow machines and LOTS of up and down mountains hiking. I am going to go back after a wolf but probably will look for a Canadian wolf. The pressure around Boise (within 2 hours drive) is high, the wolves didn't howl at all (at least for us) and most outfitters in the lower 48 (IMHO) are still really learning how to hunt them.
Alberta sounds good :)
