    Default Iliwa Safaris - First trophy in Africa

    Hi everyone. As promised, another hunting clip (very much abbreviated) with Gar Rodside (jnr) the day before his 12th birthday. Not a bad opening to his first safari in Africa, or a first trophy. He used a .270 rifle. Enjoy

    That young man can provide some shooting lessons for a lot of us.

    I am glad the fellow with the snow camo stayed behind for the stalk.
    I wonder if he ever took any trophies in that get up?

    Brought a smile to my face listening to that young man describe his hunt. Nice job Gar.
    When I am not hunting, I am thinking about hunting....I think I'll go hunting.

    Thanks for the video. It was great watching that young man shoot his first African animal and what a nice Kudu it was.

    Nice video. I watched the clip from the next day when he shot a Blesbok as well. That kid sure doesnt mess around when he is shooting! DRT.

    Thanks for all the positive comments everyone. I'm leaving on another safari in a couple of day's time. Will be sharing some more hunting clips with AH members as soon as I can.
