Nicely done. I like the slo-mo repeats in the other clips.
Time spent in Reconnaisance is never wasted.

Thanks for the compliment. Slow motion replays of impact shots are standard in the videos that we produce for clients. Glad you like it.

Oh, I thought the rifle shots were way too right (lol)....thanks to the camera...you can clearly see it! The guy must have been hunting with a big rifle. A 270 Win. would have spelled trouble on those shots.

Not sure which impact shots you are referring to, but some were with a 30-06 and the others (Springbuck, Impala and the one Blue Wildebeest) with a 7 X 64 if I recall correctly. I do agree that some of the shots look a bit far back. Camera angle can be very deceiving though.

I thought the springbok and impala looked a little too far right. The one warthog was spot on shooting. And the close up bluewildebeest looked well shot.
And I was wrong on big gun...I was guessing it was a 300 Win Mag.

I agree with you in both cases. The shots were too far right to my liking, but being spine shots, both animals dropped in their tracks. The warthog was a classic shoulder shot and so were the two blue wildebeest.

I think you have some great shots with your camera....i like the music also...
not being a camera buff (trying to learn some information now) is there a way to show the bullet in slow motion with your camera...
I know that with the naked eye and the right light angle you are able to see the shot string of a shotguns... and some rifle bullets as well as the vapor trail the bullet leaves in flight...are you able to slow the picture down to show the bullet and flight on it way to the target?
Now that i would be interested in...James Grage - New Mexico

Unfortunately not with my camera, although it is a top-of-the-range broadcast job. One needs a specialist high-speed cam to do that kind of thing. Hopefully, with the digital revolution, that may become affordable to us mere mortals. As for the music - thanks for the compliment. They're my own compositions (if you can call it that). I am a musician but play blues, not African music.
